Immanuel is firmly grounded in God's Word.  It is through the study of the His Word that we are better able to understand what God desires for our lives.  Our main Bible study is held weekly during the Christian Education hour, from 8:30 am to 9:15 am.  Coffee and snacks are available.  Short video segments of the Bible studies are available for viewing on this website.  Click here to view.

On the first Monday of each month, prior to the meetings of our various boards, Pastor Frederickson offers a topical discussion based on questions provided to him.

Many of the social groups incorporate Bible studies into their agenda, as well.  Please check our web calendar for additional  up-to-date information on dates & times of individual events, or contact the church office.
Immanuel is blessed with many talented musicians.  From traditional pipe organ to piano, flute, guitar, brass and woodwinds, to group ensembles, choirs and soloists.  Do you have a desire to put your talent into the service of the Lord?  Come join us, or simply enjoy the music during our worship services!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.  And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."  Philippians 4:6-7

Congregational Prayers
Our worship services include prayers and supplications.  We invite you to request prayers of thanksgiving, guidance, safe-keeping, comfort, etc., to be offered by the pastor, to be included in the congregational prayers during our worship services.

To request a prayer, click here, choose "Prayer Request", and indicate your wishes in your message.  Prayers may be sent to a pastor or the secretary.

Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain Ministry allows you to request a prayer, which then is forwarded to all members of the prayer chain.  Prayers may be specific or general, and/or annonymous, based on your individual request.

If you would like to request a prayer for the Prayer Chain, or if you would like to be added to the Prayer Chain, please click here and indicate your preference in the message portion of the contact form, and send it to the "Prayer Chain".

Daily Prayer
Each day, a prayer is sent to anyone who wishes to receive one. These prayers are most often from the Lutheran Book of Prayer or the Lutheran Service Book.  Luther's Book of Prayer contains prayers that focus on general concerns (prayers for pastors, teachers, illnesses, confession, family issues, and so on).  There are also prayers for national/international concerns and prayers for each day of the week.

If you would like to receive a daily prayer, please click here, and choose "Receive Daily Prayer", and send it to "Daily Prayer".
