Admission Policy

Immanuel Lutheran School admits students of any race, color, national or ethnic origin and extends to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at Immanuel Lutheran School. Enrollment Procedure

Procedure:

     1. Complete an application form for each child.
     2. Attach the book fee (see below). Enrollment applications are not valid
          without the book fee.
     3. Turn in the application at the school office.

Dates & Deadlines: (Please call the school for current dates)

K-8 Registration Begins - First week in March
Kindergarten application deadline - the third Friday of March
1st thru 8th grade application deadline - the third Friday of April
Pre-K Immanuel member preference registration deadline - Third week in April

Applications will still be accepted after the deadlines, however they will be processed on a first come - first serve basis.

Consideration & Acceptance:

Pre-K applications will be accepted on a first come - first serve basis.

In each of the following categories, K-8 applications will be accepted in the order they are received.

     1. Children currently enrolled in K-8
     2. Children of members of Immanuel Lutheran Church
     3. Siblings of students enrolled at Immanuel Lutheran School
     4. Other applicants

Applications received after the above deadlines will be processed on a first come - first serve basis.

A waiting list will be established if maximum enrollment numbers are reached. Children will be admitted from the waiting list in the above order, as space becomes available.

A letter of noticication will be sent to the parents when their child is accepted into the program.

Admission Requirements:

Children who enroll in Kindergarten must be five years of age on, or before September 1st of the upcoming school year.

All children, upon being admitted to Immanuel, must provide evidence of all immunizations required by the state health department. A date for completing or turning in these records will be set in August. A child may not attend class until health records are on file.
