Immanuel Lutheran Church of Plainview, Minnesota will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2025!
SAVE THE DATE: The celebration of the 150th anniversary will take place July 27, 2025.
A planning committee has been formed and led by Mr. Ben Neumann. Committee members are Linda Zabel, Mark Bartsh, Jean Wingert, Jacob Mikkelson, Randy & Bonnie Boettcher, and Pastor Augustine. Other volunteers are welcome at any time!
Theme: To God Be the Glory!
Design a logo or banner! In preparation of celebrating Immanuel’s 150th Anniversary on July 26 & 27, 2025, and using our selected theme – To God Be the Glory – we are inviting you to create and design a logo that will be made into a banner to display in our church. Submit your logo ideas to the church office, or committee member, by June 1, 2024. Be creative and have some fun. Contact any committee member with any questions.

- Logo/banner design
- Planning timeline
- New photo directory of congregational members (a chairperson is still needed to make this happen!)
- Discussion and planning of activities and events for the day or weekend
- Consulting with special guest speakers
- We have a verbal commitment from Rev. Dr. Dale Meyer, former President of Concordia Seminary, St. Louis and Lutheran Hour speaker!
