Are you, or someone you know, hurting emotionally in some way and having trouble coping? Are you experiencing difficult circumstances such as divorce, grief, hospitalization, unemployment, terminal illness, relocation, chronic illness, or loneliness, whether a member of Immanuel or not.
Immanuel has members & lay leaders (men & women) – Stephen Ministers – who complete 50 hours of care-giving training and then work alongside our pastor in providing one-to-one (male to male & female to female) confidential emotional, spiritual and caring support to people.
Please reach out by calling the church office at (507) 534-3700, and you will be connected with one of our Stephen Minister leaders.
An Opportunity to Serve, Love, and Grow! – Become a Stephen Minister!
Do you have a desire to learn more about becoming a Stephen Minister? We continually encourage additional Stephen Ministers to become a part of this ministry!
Perhaps you don’t think you have what it takes to become a Stephen Minister. You might be surprised to learn that numerous active Stephen Ministers throughout the country thought that same way! Stephen Ministry is a local congregational ministry that uses the Stephen Series system to help congregations equip and empower their trained Stephen Ministers to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. Click here for more information on the Stephen Ministry.
Please feel free to get in touch with one of Immanuel’s Stephen Minister leaders – Becky Luckstein, Val Aarsvold, or Kim Zabel by calling the church office at (507) 534-3700.
