Nov 28 – First Sunday in Advent

The Divine Service for the First Sunday in Advent (November 28, 2021). The Church begins her liturgical new year today. It may seem strange to hear about Palm Sunday as the theme of this day, but it is by design to take us on an Advent journey to the cross with a flashback to the Babe of Bethlehem at Christmas. All this for us sinners to hear and believe that Jesus is the Savior and King of all!

Our apologies to any online viewers looking for the live-stream of the service today. Our lone live-stream technician is spending the weekend away. A backup camera operator will record the service. It will be linked on this page when the hymn texts are added.
